Protozoan Testing
Cryptosporidium and Giardia testing has been mainstay of BioVir’s services for many years. As an innovator in this area of environmental testing our laboratory capabilities range from routine testing to methods research and challenge studies.
Analytical techniques employed by BioVir include fluorescence assay for routine detection from water, wastewater and biosolids samples. During disinfection studies, BioVir can employ the cell culture technique for Cryptosporidium and animal model for Giardia viability testing.
All testing is performed at our
facility.
